We want all our Little Lancashire Village and their parents/guardians to have a fun and an exciting experience whilst visiting our village. We have some terms and conditions that protect us, you and your little ones.

When you purchase a ticket and enter the Village you agree to following these terms and conditions. Please take time to read through them.

Rules of Play

  1. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times. Little Lancashire Village cannot take responsibility for children at any time.
  2. All outdoor shoes must be removed before entering the town. Socks must be worn at all times. The only exception to this rule are those who require shoes for walking due to medical reasons. Please inform Little Lancashire Village prior to your visit.
  3. The Village is cleaned and re-set prior to each session. When you arrive, the door may be closed. We ask for your patience and that you arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your pre-booked session time. In bad weather we will do our best to accommodate and allow early entry into the café seating area only.
  4. Only food purchased on the premises may be consumed. There are exceptions for dietary requirements but please contact us prior to your visit.
  5. No Birthday or celebration cakes are to be brought into a normal general admission session.
  6. We kindly ask that any children who are/or have been unwell refrain from visiting Little Lancashire Village for 48 hours, the ticket refund and transfer policy still applies.
  7. Please report accidents to a member of staff so we can provide the necessary assistance, record the accident and avoid any more accidents occurring.
  8. Please report any damage to the play area or any equipment. You may be asked to pay for the damage if this is found to be intentional damage.
  9. Little Lancashire Village reserve the right to refuse admission or ask customers to leave at any time. Abusive language or behaviour towards staff or other customers will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund.
  10. When taking pictures of your own children we please ask that you try to only take pictures of your own children due to privacy concerns. Little Lancashire Village cannot be held responsible for any images shared by other customers. Little Lancashire Village will never share images without obtaining written consent prior to sharing.
  11. Children of all ages are welcome to play and we acknowledge that children develop at different ages. However, the village is specifically designed for young children aged 7 and under. We have a lot of props/toys, some being deemed suitable for ages 3 and up. Whilst all children must be supervised by their responsible adult, those under the age of 3 must be closely supervised at all times.
  12. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited within Little Lancashire Village.
  13. Customers should keep all valuables with them at all times. Customers bringing personal belongings into Little Lancashire Village do so at their own risk, and we do not accept any liability.
  14. We do have on-site parking; this is available on a first come first served basis and each customer leaves their car parked at their own risk. Little Lancashire Village doesn’t accept any liability for loss, damage or accidents.
  15. We only allow assistance animals in The Little Lancashire Village.

Tickets, Transfers and Cancellations:

  1. All bookings and deposits are non-refundable.
  2. Transfers may be permitted with 48 hours notice given and with email correspondence.
  3. Little Lancashire Village reserves the right to close at any time, this will be for your safety and security, if this occurs, we will issue full refunds or transfer to another session.
  4. One child ticket entitles a child entry into Little Lancashire Village. Adult tickets are £1 each. Our spaces are limited to maximise enjoyment of the Village and also for safety reasons. Only those with a valid ticket will be allowed entry into the building.
  5. Unaccompanied adults will not be permitted entry.
  6. When a booking is made on behalf of others, the buyer is responsible for notifying all those in the party of these terms and conditions.
  7. Bookings and parties cannot be transferred between different locations.
  8. Bookings of more than 6 children and 6 adults are NOT permitted.
  9. Bookings are all subject to a booking fee charged by the card machine company.
  10. All gift vouchers and bookings are only valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
  11. Birthday party celebrations must be booked with us as a party and cannot take place in general admission sessions.

Special Arrangements

  1. Please contact a member of the team if you or your child has any allergy, disability, medical condition or other need that may impact upon your visit to Little Lancashire Village. We will try to do our very best to accommodate you and put in place any appropriate measures to meet your specific needs.

Party Terms and Conditions

Please read our Terms & Conditions before booking a party with us. Once you have paid your deposit, you are agreeing to these terms & conditions.

  1. £80.00 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure the party. You will then be required at the time of booking to complete and return the party booking form. Parties are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable if the party is within 60 days. If you would like to cancel your party, please email us to let us know. We can only transfer your party booking if it’s more than 60 days away from the time you are cancelling. The remaining payment will be required on the day of the party.
  2. The minimum number for parties at Burnley, Rawtenstall and Darwen is 15 children. This is the minimum so if you have less than the minimum amount of children attending the party, the cost is still the same and no discounts will be given. The maximum for parties at Rawtenstall is 18. The maximum for parties at Burnley is 20 and at Darwen is 24- each child above the minimum number of 15 will be charged at an additional £12 or £16 depending on the package.
  3. Party bookings are capped at the number advertised. No additional party guests can be added to these numbers. Please ensure you include the birthday child in your numbers.
  4. To ensure a safe and secure environment for your little ones we limit the age of our child party guests to a maximum of 8 years old. We regret that siblings aged 8 years or older will NOT be able to join the children in the play area and will have to remain seated with their family members in the café.
  5. All parties must be supervised by adults. We advise 1 adult for every 4 children. Parties do not limit the number of adults that can attend but tables/seating in our cafes will be limited as they will be used for the children to sit and enjoy their food/drinks.
  6. Little Package at both Burnley, Rawtenstall and Darwen includes private hire of the whole village, entry for number of children (max. 20 at Burnley, max. 16 at Rawtenstall), food and unlimited juice, downloadable Little Lancashire Village themed PDF invitation, Little Lancashire themed birthday card for the birthday girl/ boy which will be hidden within the post office mail for them to find & pastel themed party decorations which includes – table decorations, balloons, and banners.
  7. The Lancashire package at both Burnley and Rawtenstall includes private hire of the whole village, entry for number of children (max. 20 at Burnley, max. 16 at Rawtenstall), food and unlimited juice, printed themed invitations which are to be collected from Burnley or Rawtenstall or can be posted out to you on request, Little Lancashire themed birthday card for the birthday girl/boy which will be hidden within the post office mail for them to find & themed party bags which include puzzle book, chocolate, crayons and bubbles and themed party decorations which includes – table decorations, balloons, and banners. For the Lancashire package, you have 5 themes to choose from including Dinosaur, Fairies, Football, Pastel Unicorn or Jungle.
  8. Please arrive at The Little Lancashire village on time and no sooner than 5 minutes before your play session starts. Children will not be permitted to play until the session begins. Your party will be set and ready for you, there is no need to arrive early.
  9. It is the party parent’s responsibility to inform us of any special dietary or allergy requirements no later than 7 days prior to the party.

  11. We require a final list of children’s names who are attending the party no later than 7 days prior to the party. Please email this over to us at least 7 days before.
  12. The party parent must ensure all children bring and wear socks to play in Little Lancashire Village.
  13. Please be advised we do not supply birthday cakes or candles. You are welcome to bring your own.
  14. The party parent must ensure that all party children are collected by their parent or guardian at the end of the party time.
  15. The party parent must ensure that the party area is vacated with all belongings at the end of the allocated party time.
  16. The Little Lancashire Cafe will be open as usual for everyone staying for the party. No outside catering can be brought into The Little Lancashire Village (except by special arrangement which must have been confirmed with us beforehand).
  17. If we are unable to host your party due to an unexpected event or emergency (such as a flood, burglary, heating failure or other emergency/event) a full refund will be provided.
  18. If you have any problems during your party, it is important that you speak to the Manager who is in charge immediately to enable swift resolution. We cannot solve any problems once you have left the building.

Messy Play Rules

  1. The Little Lancashire Village cannot take responsibility for the health and safety of your child during your time at our group. While our aim is to provide
    clean, safe and appropriate activities for your little ones, you are solely responsible for them at all times.
  2. Whilst we aim to provide age appropriate activities for your little ones, our classes cater for children ranging from 6 months to 4 years. Therefore, it is your responsibility as parent/carer that you supervise your little one with all activities provided.
  3. It is your responsibility as the parent/carer to ensure that your child does not interact with any resources that may cause an allergic reaction. While we aim to cater for the main allergens, and packaging can be provided upon request, we cannot take responsibility for allergies and their reactions
  4. We cannot accept responsibility for any clothes that become stained or ruined during our classes because of the nature of the activities.
  5. A warm bucket bath, soft wash cloth, and hypoallergenic fragrance free baby wash will be provided for you at the end of the messy session. However, please bring your own wash cloth and body wash if your child has sensitive/allergy prone skin. Please also bring a towel and spare change of clothes.
