Our Little Lancashire Village at Rawtenstall is based inside an old corn mill in the centre of town and has a variety of shops and job roles to inspire and allow your child to get into character, to engage with other children, learn to socialise and share all whilst acting out real life roles.
Our play sessions run 7 days a week at 9.30am, 11.45am and 2pm for 1 hour, 45 minutes. There are a limited number of spaces available at each session which are to be pre-booked online and we advise booking well in advance! We close for a small amount of time in-between each session to reset the areas and clean thoroughly. To ensure a safe and secure environment for your little ones, we advise a walking up to & including aged 7 age range.
Please be advised before booking, all bookings are non-refundable. We can transfer a booking to another date if 48 hours or more notice is given. If it’s less than 48 hours, we can advertise the spaces and if they sell we can move your booking to a different date/time.book rawtenstall

“Wow- What a fab place! Every room has so much to do and the attention to detail is amazing. There is nothing like this round here and it’s such a great place to play and learn. I’ll be recommending Little Lancashire Village to everyone- love it!
Benefits of Roleplay…
Role play forms an essential part of a child’s development and is an important element of their learning. Children learn through observing others, imagining and taking part in role play.
As children play, they develop fundamental cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Young children also learn practical life skills such as dressing themselves, problem solving, how to cooperate, and share with other children.
Little Lancashire Village is a place where your little ones can dress up and get into character through imaginative play.book rawtenstall
“Play is often talked about as if it were a relief from serious learning. But for children, play is serious learning. Play is really the work of the childhood.”
